It’s been a loooooong crazy year and we are ready for a SUMMER FILLED WITH ADVENTURES AND CLUBHOUSE FUN!!

 

Summer Camp at the JUNIOR EXPLORER CLUB is a daily adventure with exciting programming indoors or outdoors at the Clubhouse.

Due to Covid and traveling uncertainties, we will be playing it day by day as we learn of the places we can go and therefore, there MAY be additional fees for local adventures ranging from $5 – $40 per day (Excludes Clay’s Water Park and Put-in-Bay. CROSS YOUR FINGERS! Those are EXPLORER favorites.) We will notify families PRIOR to those adventures to confirm if they wish to partake. 

We offer full-time, part-time care options and 5-day bundles for ages 2 – 12! For details on summer camp costs, please see description below.

EXPLORERS must bring a mask, back pack, packed lunch, water bottle, towel, bathing suit, change of clothes/shoes, everyday. All items MUST be labeled with their name.

WHEN: June 2, 2021 – August 13, 2021
(Closed July 1, 2, 5, and 6th for July 4th)

 

TIME: Open weekdays from 8am – 6pm

 

WHERE: The CLUBHOUSE 1033 Old Henderson Road
Conveniently located off the 315/Henderson Road Exit

 

BASIC CAMP COSTS: Range from $440 – $1,300 a month (details available in description below)

 

 

SUMMER REGISTRATION FEE: $99 and $125** – Click here to pre-pay registration and lock your spot! Or pay registration fees AND your first month below. ALL members, new and current, must pay a summer registration fee.

 

COSTS COVERS: Full-day care, a JUNIOR EXPLORER CLUB tee shirt, 2 snacks daily, exciting programming indoors and outdoors at the Clubhouse, local field trips to parks around the city, crafts, Junior Explorer Olympics, and more!

 

ABOUT ADVENTURES: Due to COVID, there may be a limit on the adventures portion of the JEC programming. We will do our best to bring exciting programs into the center that will accommodate all ages. Therefore, pricing is based on care coverage, snacks, crafts, programming and activities at the Clubhouse. As we get closer to summer and learn more regarding the permitted places to go, we will be sure to inform families ASAP. COVID SAFETY: As a licensed childcare center, we must abide by all safety guidelines issued by the Ohio Department of  Job and Family Services. We will continue to implement temperature checks at the door, adhere to our drop-off and pick-up standards, and require constant handwashing and mask wearing by staff and EXPLORERS. We will provide our Summer Camp families with a complete list of procedures and policies list upon your registration payment.

Camp Cost Breakdown:

JUNE AND JULY*

Full-time Camp covers 40-50 hours of camp (4 – 5 days per week) $1,300 per month (approx. $6 per hour)
Part-time Camp covers 10-30 hours of camp (1 – 3 days per week) $815 per month (approx. $7.25 per hour)
5-day Bundles covers 5 days to be used within the month of your purchased choice $440 per bundle (approx. $8.80 per hour)

AUGUST*

Full-time Camp covers 40 – 50 hours of camp (4 – 5 days per week) $650 month (approx. $6.20 per hour)
Part-time Camp covers 10 – 30 hours of camp (1 – 3 days per week) $380 month (approx. $7.40 per hour)
5-day Bundles covers 5 days to be used within the month of your purchased choice $440 per bundle (approx. $8.80 per hour)

June and July 2021 – We took the number of days available for care during the months of June (21 days) and July (18 days) and determined the average for the monthly costs.
August – A prorated month since Summer Camp 2021 ends on Friday, August 13, 2021. The 2021/2022 Fall School Year for UA begins on August 18. The JEC will be closed on August 16 and 17th to prepare for our After-School Care program to begin on August 18, 2021.

*IT IS IMPERATIVE that when you choose part-time or 5 day bundles that you know the days you need. We will work with families to confirm these days so we avoid turning anyone away due to staffing/busing. Your point of contact for schedules will be Miss Kim at kim@jrexplorerclub.com
